About Remote Desi

Indian professionals looking for remote work at foreign companies waste most of their effort on postings labelled “remote” that will not accept an applicant located in India. In one hand audit of 900 postings, 16 of 71 matching roles were genuinely open to India.

Remote Desi is a list where every job has been checked against the posting's own text, with the sentence that proves it shown next to the job. Jobs that state no restriction are kept in a separate tab. Pay is shown only when the employer publishes it. Nothing is ever submitted on your behalf — every job links to the employer's own page.

Who runs it

An independent project run from Bengaluru by a support engineer who went through this search herself. It is not affiliated with any employer, job board or ATS vendor.
