Takedown requests

Remote Desi indexes postings from employers' public job boards and from feeds whose terms allow display with attribution. If you own a posting or a company page here and want it removed, we will act within 48 hours.

How to request

1. Email hello@remotedesi.com from an address at the company's domain, or include a link that shows you represent the company or the source feed.
2. Tell us what to remove: specific job URLs, or the whole company.
3. Tell us if you want a standing “do not index” for the company so future postings are never shown either.

What happens

• The pages return “not found” and are dropped from the sitemap within 48 hours.
• Companies on the do-not-index list are skipped on every future crawl.
• We reply to confirm when it is done.

Crawler identification

Our crawler identifies itself with a User-Agent containing this contact address, honours robots.txt and makes at most one request per second per host. To block it entirely, disallow it in your robots.txt or email us.
